Join us on the journey to create our characters and bring them to life, led by Teaching Artist Emma Roeder. A strong character is at the heart of comics, manga, animation, and storytelling. In this class, you’ll learn how to use shape, color, proportion, and other design tools to create characters with distinct personalities that shine on the page. We’ll also explore how to draw interactions between characters, depict movement, and express a range of emotions through facial expressions and body language.By the end of class you'll have the skills to create a character that truly tells a story of their own. This class meets Tuesdays January 13th - March 3 from 4:30 - 6:00pm.
