These 2-week classes are part of our 8-week acrylic painting series taught by Rhonda Sherwin. Participants will explore playful, creative ways to apply paint and color while developing a new artwork during each 2-week class. Mix and match the classes—each 2-week class explore a different theme and you can sign up for as many as you like. Receive a reduced rate if you sign up for all four.

Light & Horizon: This class will focus on gradient of color from light to dark and will explore various color combinations. A horizon line will be outlined and defined with a second layer of color.

Branches & Flowers: Wash, Drip, Spatter, Sponge painting techniques will be explored as you create a flower outlined with pencil and defined with a second layer of color.

Fern Leaves: Wash, Drip, Spatter, Sponge painting techniques will be explored as you create a fern leaf that will be outlined with pencil and defined with a second layer of color.

Lyrics & Poems: This class will focus on words, phrases, and favorite song lyrics or poems will be glued onto background painting. The importance of those words in the painting will be outlined and accentuated with a second layer of color.
