Celebrating Alice

This March, we are celebrating the retirement of REACH’s Founder and Executive Director, Alice Brinkman. What Alice built in the last 20 years is not just a fantastic art facility but a 20-year legacy of arts programming for all in the Greater Lansing area.

Over those 20 years, REACH has become an essential part of Lansing and Alice has impacted many people's lives in our community. We are honored to celebrate Alice's work and her profound investment in creating life-affirming creative experiences for people of all ages. Please join us for an open house on March 9 from 1:00-3:00 pm to wish Alice well on her retirement.

Join the REACH Team

REACH is hiring! We are looking for someone passionate and creative to join the REACH team as a full-time Program Director.

The Program Director is integral in furthering REACH Studio Art Center’s mission of fostering equitable access to the arts through educational opportunities and creative engagement. The Program Director will oversee and develop arts programming at REACH, work to create and facilitate community partnerships and outreach opportunities, and grow and maintain a robust volunteer program. JOIN REACH YOUTH ART COUNCIL

Are you a teen or young adult looking for a phenomenal service opportunity? The REACH Youth Art Council is accepting applications for new members! The REACH Youth Art Council is a leadership and professional development opportunity for young people ages 15-25 who live in the Greater Lansing area. Members meet monthly to plan and implement artistic service opportunities. Members will also provide insight to REACH's leadership on the overall creative vision of the center and how best to engage teens and young adults in our community. Council members also gain leadership experience and skills related to grant writing, reporting, and budgeting. CLICK HERE TO APPLY

Subzero wind chills make us dream of sunnier days and summer camp at REACH! We look forward to welcoming students to REACH for camps so they can explore, learn, and create in a wide array of mediums and styles. This year, we will host morning camps from 9:00 to 12:00 and afternoon camps from 1:00 to 4:00. Students can sign up for one class or a full day! Aftercare will also be provided for an additional fee. Camps will be offered during the weeks listed below. A full camp schedule with class themes is coming soon!

REACH Teen Night

  • Teen Night 2/29/24, TH 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Ages 13-18 FREE FOR LANSING RESIDENTS!
    Unleash your imagination at Teen Night—connect, create, and let creativity soar! Join Sofia for drawing games and create an expressive paper puppet. Then our Education Coordinator Margo will guide you in needle-felting and creating textured masterpieces. All are welcome; no experience is needed.
