What is Neighborhood Camp?

REACH Neighborhood Camps offers a week of free art camp activities to children ages 4-15 who attend or live in the Lansing School District! Students can sign up for a single day or a full week.

Pre-registration is required. Sessions have a limit of 20 participants. Children under 7 must attend with an adult.  If registering a child under 7, please also register the adult who will attend. REACH Neighborhood Camp agree to the REACH Terms of Service.

This program is FREE thanks to a grant from the Arts Council of Greater Lansing.

Call or stop by REACH to enroll at (517) 999-3643, or enroll below.

REACH is partnering with staff from MSU Department of Entomology to explore the world of bugs! Check out real specimens and create your very own bug inspired artwork.

REACH’s clay studio artists will introduce campers to our ceramic studio through a fun, hands on clay experience. Campers will have the chance to explore different ceramic techniques.

REACH Teaching Artist Erika Noud will share her love of flowers and gardening with students through a fun, hands on activity.

REACH Teaching Artist Emma Selby will guide campers in creating colorful sculptures and imaginative funky shapes. Students will explore creativity through playful, hands on sculpture making and will have the opportunity to paint their creations during Friday’s Neighborhood Camp session. We highly recommend signing up for both days for the full experience.

This camp is to dye for! Create your own colorful tie dye shirt with help from REACH staff. Students will also have the opportunity to paint the sculpture creations they made during Thursday’s class. We highly recommend signing up for both days for the full experience.

Thank you to our supporters that make programs like this one possible!
