REACH Studio Art Center is a vibrant non-profit community art center offering creative out-of-school engagement in the arts for all ages and abilities with classes and workshops taught by local teaching artists. Free and sliding-scale fee programs in a variety of arts media and disciplines happen at REACH, a campus of seven studios located in the REO Town district of Lansing, Michigan, or around town through the REACH Art Truck program.

Youth & Adult Classes:
REACH youth and adult classes offer fun, hands-on creative experiences led by talented local teaching artists, with opportunities to explore, learn, and create together. We offer year-round classes divided into four 8-week terms. During the Fall, Winter, and Spring terms, classes are held Tuesday through Saturday. In the Summer term, programming shifts to a Monday through Friday schedule.
Walk in Wednesdays:
Walk-In Wednesday is a free weekly program where participants of all ages can drop in to create art and explore new materials. Projects change each week, making it a fun and flexible way to stay creative. Pre-registration is recommended, as sessions have a limited number of seats. Registration opens three weeks ahead of each Walk-In Wednesday session.
REACH in the Community:
REACH connects with the community through after-school programs, partnerships with local schools, and our mobile Art Truck. For more than 15 years, the Art Truck has brought hands-on art experiences directly to neighborhoods across Lansing.
Events:
REACH hosts community events throughout the year, including fundraisers, art sales, and neighborhood celebrations. These gatherings bring people together to support the arts and celebrate creativity in our community.
