Announcing REACH’s next Executive Director:

Melissa Keeley!

We are so pleased to announce our next Executive Director, Melissa Keeley! Melissa will be the first new Executive Director after 20 years of leadership by REACH founder, Alice Brinkman. Melissa comes to REACH from Lansing Christian School where she held the position of Director of Development. She also has development experience at the Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus, Ohio, and received her master's degree in Cultural Policy and Arts Administration from the Ohio State University. On top of her development career, Melissa is also a professional photographer! She will be starting her new adventure at REACH this June, co-leading and shadowing with Alice through the remainder of 2023.

We look forward to this next chapter in REACH’s history. Welcome Melissa!

Adult Student Art Show & Sale

Come support REACH artists! All 2022-23 season adult students from Experimental Painting, Clay Wheel, Life Drawing, and Drawing From Life have been invited to submit class artwork for this exhibition in our gallery. Accessibility Arts Workshops

REACH is partnering with the Lansing Art Gallery and MSU STRIDE to build our capacity for expanding access to arts education for the disability community. A series of pilot workshops utilizing teaching strategies and equipment designed to be inclusive are being offered this May at both REACH and the Lansing Art Gallery and Education Center. Our partnership goal is to increase access to the arts for those who have been historically excluded from such experiences.

These workshops will culminate in a joint exhibition at REACH and The Gallery, of artwork submitted by participants, opening June 3 during the REACH Spring Thing (see below for more info about the REACH Spring Thing)

We are working with organizations that support people with disabilities to attend these workshops, but invite anyone identifying with the disability community to reach out to us to get involved.

Save the Date:
