REGISTERING FOR CLASSES AT REACH

REACH OFFERS PROGRAMS AND CLASSES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR IN FOUR 8-WEEK TERMS. FALL TERM BEGINS THE FIRST WEEK OF OCTOBER. THE WINTER TERM BEGINS IN MID-JANUARY. SPRING TERM BEGINS IN APRIL. THE SUMMER TERM BEGINS IN MID-JUNE. CLASSES ARE SCHEDULED ON TUESDAYS THROUGH SATURDAYS FOR FALL THROUGH SPRING TERMS, AND ON MONDAYS THROUGH FRIDAYS DURING THE SUMMER TERM.

ONLINE: You can find all of our class offerings with prices and descriptions on REACH’s registration website ACTIVE If you’ve already registered with our system, use this link to go directly to your class account with REACH. If you’re unsure of how to proceed with online registration, give us a call. We are more than happy to help you get comfortable with it!

BY PHONE: T-F 12:00-8:00 pm, Sat 10:00-1:00 during fall-spring terms, and M-F 12:00-6 during the summer term (we will need your phone number, email, billing address, and credit card number, as well the participant’s name, birthday, and grade)

IN PERSON: Same hours as by phone, with check, cash, or credit card. These times may change from time to time, so please call before stopping in!

    • All classes require registration and payment if a fee is charged, before attending.

    • Early registration and payment are appreciated. Please help us allow our teachers time to prepare the proper quantity of class materials by registering early for classes.

    • Online registration for classes ends 1 day before class begins. If a class does not appear on the online registration portal, there may still be space to enroll. Please call or email to inquire.

    • Payments and registrations are due by the first day of class. If you are not able to pay before the first meeting of your class, please contact our Program Coordinator to discuss accommodations (info@reachstudioart.org or 517-999-3643)

    • REACH reserves the right to cancel activities due to insufficient registration.

    • Scholarships (full and partial) are offered for all fee-based youth classes based on household income. See household income/scholarship eligibility here.

    • Proof of household income, such as the most recent federal income tax document (1040) or a valid, signed bridge card will be needed to qualify for the scholarship levels.

    • In addition to three fee levels in youth classes, siblings registering for the same class at the same time receive a 10% discount, even at all tuition levels. Creative Tots siblings receive a 65% discount.

    • Some programs such as Life Drawing and Walk-in Wednesdays are registered for on a weekly basis or walk-in registration and charge an optional suggested fee. Paying what you can for these “free” programs helps REACH continue to offer them.

    • Refunds may be requested up to 1 week before the start of class or camp. Requested refunds will incur an 8% processing fee.

    • Refunds requested within one week of the first day of class will be given in the form of credit for future classes.

    • No refunds will be given the day of and after the start of the class.

    • Class fees will not be pro‐rated, and missed classes cannot be made up. We will do our best to accommodate unavoidable cancellations due to illness or major emergencies.

    • If REACH cancels a class session due to a snow day or other circumstances, a make-up day will be scheduled if possible.

    • Full refund if REACH cancels a class due to insufficient enrollment.

    • By enrolling yourself and your family in REACH’s programs, workshops, and events, you acknowledge that you have been informed and will follow the REACH Attendance Policies and Terms of Service. We appreciate your collaboration in keeping our community safe.

    • All students, visitors, and staff are required to wear a well-fitting mask that covers the nose and mouth while inside the REACH facility for programs and events. While we have limited extra masks on hand if you forget yours, we appreciate it when you can remember to bring your own masks. We are thankful for your collaboration in helping us care for those who may be at higher risk of severe infection by always wearing your mask inside.

    • All students, staff, and visitors should refrain from attending class if they have contracted a transmissible disease or are experiencing symptoms of such (fever, more than normal coughing, sneezing, runny nose, etc).

    • If you arrive early (more than 5 minutes before class starts) we ask that you stay with your child until class starts to allow teachers to finish setting up a class

    • If you are running late or know if you or your child will miss a class session, please contact us at (517) 999-3643 or info@reachstudioart.org. This helps our staff to be prepared and plan accordingly.

    • Missed class sessions cannot be made up, or fees discounted. Dismissal from class sessions due to misconduct or failure to follow our policies is not refundable or discounted.

    • Enrolling in REACH programs acknowledges implied consent to photograph students and student artwork without compensation and for REACH purposes. Photographs are used for documentation and promotion of REACH programs through print and social media.

    • Your completed registration in a REACH class or program is your agreement to abide by the above policies.

    • We always welcome your honest feedback regarding your or your child’s experience at REACH. Your feedback helps us plan for future classes and activities.
