Introducing:
Open Clay Studio

Are you proficient on the potter’s wheel and just wish you had more time to work or practice independently? A membership in the Open Clay Studio gives you access to REACH's clay equipment and a chance to hone your ceramic clay skills while enjoying a relaxed studio atmosphere at your leisure.  Those purchasing their first OCS member pass must have attended a REACH Adult Clay class in the past 2 years and be oriented and approved by REACH staff. Once your first membership is purchased, you’ll be given instructions on how to schedule your visits using Google Calendar.  No instructor is present for your sessions and clay must be purchased separately from REACH. Outside clay is not permitted.

Those interested in applying can call REACH at 517-999-3643 or email info@reachstudioart.org to request a link sent over email.

REACH is now on TikTok! Follow us to see regular updates on different classes and events. And who knows, now if you take a class, you or your art might be featured!

Programs at REACH are made possible in part through funding from National Endowment for the Arts, the Michigan Arts and Culture Council, The City of Lansing, Capitol Area United Way, Lansing Exchange Youth Foundation, The Arts Council of Greater Lansing, the Community Foundation, MSUFCU - Desk Drawer Fund, the Mariel Foundation, and generous individual donors.
