Young artists create process-focused art with their parent/caregiver under the guidance of an art teacher. Parents gain resources for playing creatively with their child. Children spend time with their parent having fun exploring different art materials and methods. 5 weeks. Year round.

Kids Clay Beginners
Create clay creatures or vessels using pinching, texturing, rolling, modeling, sculpting and your imagination as you hand build with clay.

After school program for elementary aged children. High volunteer mentor to youth ratio, special integrative art projects, opportunities to share art with the public. Oct—May. Register separately for each term.
Creative Connections -Late Start Wednesdays for Lansing School District Students
K-3rd grade (Fall Semester) 4th – 8th grade (Spring Semester)
Students from the Lansing School District are eligible for this special collaboration between the Lansing School District and REACH to provide structured, educational activity during the districts late start Wednesdays . Pre-register for a 16 week semester of artistic fun. Students will do 8 weeks of clay and 8 weeks of multi-media art. Fall Semester Sept-Jan. Spring Semester Feb-May. Register separately for each term.

Get down to basics! Learn about and practice drawing techniques and subjects with a variety of traditional and non-traditional drawing tools including pencil, pen & ink, charcoal and oil pastel. 5 weeks. Nov – May
Art Basics: Painting 1
Does a blank canvas inspire you? Learn and practice a variety of painting techniques, styles and media, including watercolor, acrylic and tempera. Themes and subjects will vary each course section. 5 weeks.
