Teen Open Studio
free!

THURSDAYS 3:00 – 6:00 (during school year)

Fall Term (Oct – Dec): Application Due by Sept 30
Winter Term (Jan – Mar): Application due by Jan 8
Spring Term (April – May): Application due by March 20
No class will be held on Lansing School District days off (due to weather or holidays).

Summer Teen Studio hours:
TUES 4:00 - 6:00 (at Reach)
& WED 12:30 - 2:30 (at "Open Door Ministry, Downtown Lansing)

Summer Term (June - August): Application due by June 11

TEEN STUDIO is FREE art studio time for ages 13 – 18. Teens are invited to enroll in each 8-11 week term of TEEN STUDIO which will provide youth participants with opportunities to explore a variety of artistic media. Local artists and volunteers will work with teen participants to develop hands on skills in art media as well as planning and project completion. Priority is given to teens from surrounding neighborhoods or with referrals from a teacher, counselor or case worker. Teen participants will also have opportunities to get involved in Reach's Youth Board, volunteer for special events and help plan and set up art exhibitions. Teen Studio is made possible with the support of the Arts Council of Greater Lansing, the Capital Region Community Foundation, and generous individual supporters.

An application with participant and guardian signatures will be required prior to session for enrollment. Please call 517.999.3643 for more information.

SPRING term will begin April 1 and ends May 20. APPLICATIONS for SPRING ARE DUE NO LATER THAN MARCH 20.

SUMMER term will begin June 15 and ends August 18. APPLICATIONS for SUMMER TERM ARE DUE NO LATER THAN JUNE 5.
