FREE, drop-in art activities on Tuesdays or Wednesdays 4:00 – 6:00
from October through May. Activities are scheduled to give participants
experiences in using skills and imagination with painting, sculpture,
drawing, collage, printmaking, and fine crafts. Themes are chosen
each semester and a special exhibition venue is chosen to show
off the participants work. Local artists and volunteers facilitate
the activities. Focus is on
children,
but we welcome adults who like to play with art and enjoy the
company of children! We welcome everyone, but priority is given
to children from the surrounding neighborhoods and those who
may find it financially difficult to register for fee based art
classes. Creative Connections runs October – May 21. If you’re
bringing a group, please call ahead for information on space
availability.
Moores Park School children can register to be walked from the school to Reach on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Please call 517.999.3643 for more information.
For ages 4 – adult (children under
7 must have an adult stay with them)
Guardians will be asked to fill out and sign a registration card
on their child's first visit.
