REACH Teen Studio Community Art Projects, or CAPs, will work with 15 to 20 Lansing Area teenagers and local artists to design and fabricate public art for 5 or more selected places around Lansing. Using our three hour weekly teen studio after school sessions at REACH Studio from October 2011 – June 2012, the teens will meet with Lansing area artists and solicit ideas for, choose, design and implement community art projects creating place-making art around Lansing
.
CAPs is seeking proposals from the community and projects will be selected by REACH Teen Studio students. In June 2012 students will plan a celebration to introduce the community to their art works.
